Leo Roucher, CEO

Leo Roucher

Mr. Roucher has a history of successful startup, development and sale of technology companies. Mr. Roucher was founder and CEO of Navius Corporation, which was acquired by Endosonics Corporation for $20M. Mr. Roucher spearheaded angioplasty development for SciMed, which sold to Boston Scientific for $1.6B, and Versaflex, Inc. which sold to Medtronic for $96M. He has over 20 years of hands-on managerial experience in the medical device industry, with companies which also include USCI, and Medtronic, Inc.




Debra Krahel, Chief Operating Officer

President of the California Independent Physician Association of America 1997-2001, Ms. Krahel brings more than 20 years of physician group development and executive hospital management. She has held positions including VP Managed Care for Matria Healthcare and National Diabetic Pharmacies, and was the founder and CEO of Omnicare Health Services, Inc., which was acquired by PRN, Inc. Ms. Krahel has had consistent success with growing market share.




James L. Pittman, Senior VP Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development

James L. Pittman

Mr. Pittman has twenty-six years of sales and marketing experience in ambulatory pH monitoring. His involvement began with Synectics Medical’s introduction of the first PC-based pH monitoring system. After Medtronic Inc. acquired Synectics Medical in 1997, Mr. Pittman continued driving pH technology sales. In 2005 he joined Sierra Scientific Instruments, where he led the global marketing and commercial development of breakthrough High Resolution Manometry and catheter-based reflux monitoring product lines. He secured Sierra Scientific’s standing as a domestic and international market leader, achieving 45% growth each year. These results lead to the company’s 2009 merger with Alpine BioMed GI, Sierra Scientific Instruments being the new combined company entity. Following Given Imaging’s acquisition of Sierra Scientific Instruments, Mr. Pittman lead commercial activities for Sierra capital equipment worldwide in 2010 and for the Americas in 2011.



Jeffery Schipper, VP of Operations

Mr. Schipper has over 20 years of experience in executive positions in major healthcare companies including Johnson & Johnson, Imed Corporation, and Sybron Corporation. He has proven success in startup medical technology companies, including Navius Corporation, an interventional cardiology firm, where he served as VP of Engineering and Quality Systems. Mr. Schipper is currently President and CEO of Sierra Medical Technology Inc., a medical engineering consultancy firm. Sierra provides contract services to Restech.




Wendy Kroll

Ms. Kroll provides strategic guidance on remittance issues including managed care contracting, reimbursement, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, HIPAA, and other health care matters. Ms. Kroll was in-house counsel for a fortune 100 health care corporation overseeing claims submission and adjudication, government audits, Corporate Integrity Agreement compliance and provider contracting.

Prior to law school, she held the position of President and Executive Director for managed care organizations.

Ms. Kroll is admitted to practice law in New York. She received her J.D. and a Health Law Certificate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, New York Bar Association and participates on the American Bar Association’s Breast Cancer Legal Advocacy Workshop Committee.
