Dx–Sleep
Adapter™
The Dx–Sleep Adapter, an accessory for the Dx–pH
Measurement System, enables sleep centers to
track patients’ airway pH events in real-time on their existing
monitoring equipment.
The plug & play Adapter connects to the Dx–Recorder on
one end while the opposite end plugs directly into a PSG (polysomnograph).
The minimally invasive Dx–pH Probe is introduced via
the naris and rests just behind the soft palate. Oropharyngeal pH data
is collected and sent wirelessly from the Dx–Transmitter to
the Recorder. The Dx–Sleep Adapter then transfers the data to
a sleep center’s PSG equipment.
Monitoring
pH in the oropharynx gives sleep professionals valuable data
that aids
in the diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory disorders related
to laryngopharyngeal reflux (including asthma, COPD, OSA, and chronic
