Comfortable Test. Accurate Results.

The only minimally invasive reflux testing system for use in the
oropharynx.

The first and only medical sensor able to measure and chart real-time, continuous pH in both liquid and aerosolized states, revealing reflux-related etiology of presenting symptoms
(e.g. chronic cough, hoarseness, throat clearing, and globus).

Simple Test, Complex Engineering

Sophisticated engineering behind the scenes and simplicity at your fingertips. After a quick set-up process, the clinician places the pH probe transnasally. The patient wears the probe for the duration of study, performing their normal activities of daily life. The following day our DataView software prepares a simple one-page report in a matter of minutes.

Oropharyngeal Probe

The probe is made of a thin, flexible polymer to minimize patient discomfort. A blinking red LED acts as a visual aid as the clinician positions the probe posterior to the uvula in the oropharynx. This unique position permits normal swallowing and speaking. The teardrop-shaped tip ensures the microsensor remains downward-facing to best detect pH changes in the oropharynx. The sensor is capable of highly accurate monitoring of pH 1-10.

Esophageal Probe

The esophageal probe is constructed similarly to our oropharyngeal probe with a thin, flexible polymer to minimize patient discomfort. The probe is placed in the distal esophagus requiring more complex placement techniques (it does not utilize an LED for placement). The same microsensor rests in the teardrop-shaped tip, minimizing mucousal masking to best detect pH changes in the esophagus.

Primus Probe

Designed specifically for infants and children, or adults with reduced nasopharyngeal clearance, Restech’s Primus probe is constructed with an even softer polymer and a 25% smaller tip.

Sleep Adapter

A direct plug-in adapter to your polysomnograph device to monitor pH changes during sleep studies.

DataView Software

Complete a study and analyze it with a only few clicks. Our DataView software automatically calculates reflux events at several thresholds and presents a RYAN score (the official LPR scoring system, proprietary to Restech’s pH system).
